College Counseling

Trinity’s college counseling program assists all Upper School students and families as they prepare for life after Trinity. We highly encourage students to take ownership over this process and schedule regular meetings with Karman Kent, Director of College Counseling. We desire to partner with parents and families by providing clear communication about the process.

We seek to embrace a rich and unhurried approach in exploring postsecondary educational options. One that builds relationships with students over time, particularly in the junior and senior year. The ultimate goal is to encourage habits of self-exploration to direct value-based decisions in their adult lives. To accomplish this, we commit to the following aspirations:

  • To promote the positive development of the whole person; collaborating with the school, family, and greater support systems for the student's academic, spiritual, and social growth.
  • To guide all Upper School students through the college admissions process; equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful students, productive members of society, and lifelong learners.
  • To reflect an inclusive school culture that will value, affirm, and respect the differences among all members.
